Who I am and What I do
Self-Published Author of "Killing Cancer With TILs"
I AM the last patient dosed in the phase 2, cohort 4 clinical trial for the 1st ever, FDA approved, Advanced Cellular Therapy for any Solid Tumor cancer in history.
You may recognize it as Lifileucel or its commercial name, AMTAGVI. I am the last 1 of the 153 total patients dosed in my trial, I am 1 of the 12 Mucosal Melanoma patients as well as 1 of the 6 from those 12 to have yielded a response. A phenomenal miracle considering I was stage 4 with metastasis to all major organs, my brain, and had failed on every possible treatment that existed at the time.
After receiving my TILs infusion on January 15, 2020, I had all 6 recommended doses of IL-2 and that was the last treatment I ever did. Within 6 weeks I had a 50-60% reduction and within 9 months, my scans showed I had a CMR or Complete Metabolic Response. Even though the approval of this therapy is a 2nd line of treatment for unresectable late-stage melanoma, it's accelerated approval in February 2024 made its mark in history and opened the door for more Biotherapeutics and advanced cellular therapies in solid tumor cancers.
Since 90% of all cancer diagnosis are of solid tumors and current statistic state that 40% of all people will at some point in their lifetime be affected by cancer, knowing that there are options, that preserve quality with quantity is more than half the battle.

My Mission is to pay it forward as a Beacon of Hope to both the Patient/Caregiver Community as well as the Biotherapeutics/Medical/Clinical/and Oncological Industries. I'm passionate about helping people achieve their goals. By Sharing My Experience and Participation in the Clinical Trial for First Ever FDA Approved TIL Therapy, my speeches are designed to inspire, motivate and empower audiences to take action.
Defeating The Odds and Overcoming Adversity, The Rarest of the Rare
There is currently about 341 Million people in the United States at which nearly 2 Million will get diagnosed with some form of Cancer each year. Out of that 2 million, 1% which is about 100,640 people, Will be diagnosed with Melanoma, the deadliest form of Skin Cancer. About 1% of that 1%, which is about 1000-1200(+/-) will be diagnosed with a rare sub-type called Mucosal Melanoma. Mucosal Melanoma forms in mucous membranes, and has no known cause or known standard effective treatment. 25% of Mucosal Melanoma is called Anorectal Which originates on or near the rectum and is often mistaken for a hemorrhoid and as often in late stages by time of diagnosis. If 25% of mucosal melanoma that would mean about 250 or so are diagnosed with this specific type of rare cancer each year. The survival rate is about 14% for five years and so 14% of 250 would be about 35 people. I am one of those 35. whenever you hear the odds one in 1 million. That one could be you.
A Transformation both personally and professionally
From diagnosis until last treatment was about 18 months. After trying everything available and only one option left, Chris went for his last at bat. One last shot in a Clinical Trial for TIL Therapy. He didn’t just hit a home run but hit a grand slam out the park at the bottom of the 9th for the win. After the dust had all settled, Chris decided to pursue a career in Inspirational Speaking. In March of 2023 he founded Mucosal Melanoma Survivor, LLC and Self-Published his first book, Killing Cancer With TILs".
My Approach
My approach in what i do is simple. Be authentic and organic in who i am and what i do. I admit i do not have the business, marketing, sales, finance, or anything of a Entrepreneural background but just like in life, it is all trial and error and sometimes you just figure it out as you go and when you find your passion, your purpose and it's meaningful then you do it no matter what.
